At first I thought I wasn’t going to like having to input my own data for pages and format. The lazy part of my brain has always just clicked on the edition and let the platform take care of the rest. Only I started comparing stats between platforms and I realized they were wrong on other platforms. How do I know they are wrong? Because you let me enter them. Plus, when you don’t have the exact same edition I am reading it doesn’t matter. The other day I read a book that the only edition on Pagebound was a hardback but I was reading an ebook. It didn’t matter that I selected the hardback because I marked it as a digital. Therefore my stats are right. Plus, if I was being honest, I love being able to select the edition that has the cover I like the best. Thanks, for the stats. I love them.
Thanks for giving inputting your data a chance! I’m glad the Pagebound way of doing it works for you—these are 100% the reasons why we went this route ☺️💕
Are the stats only available on the mobile app for now? I see them there, but when I'm on the desktop version and go to stats under my profile, I can only see Achievements and the Reading Challenge sections. Wondering if I'm just looking in the wrong place on desktop!
These stats have bettered my reading experience x100!! They make it so much easier to manage a daily reading goal, and I love being able to differentiate between audiobook minutes and pages read by eye. I also really feel the intention for the Royalty exclusive stats has been so well executed! As a non-Royalty member, I don’t feel like my experience has been minimized or is lacking from what the Royalty experience is, but in the same breath, I definitely consider upgrading to Royalty status to see those additional stats :) Thanks again, J&L!
Is there a way to edit imported stats for format? I'm trying to go back and edit what I've added via Storygraph, but it doesn't give me the option to change the format I used.
Yes! You can edit format in the same place you edit read dates. So, from your library or the book's page, click the orange read dates button, select edit, and then specify your format

They are only on the app for now, but they will be coming to web too! We should’ve clarified in the post—thanks for asking!
Got it, thanks! I’m enjoying them on the mobile app for now 👍🏻
